September 17th - Fall Fest At The Farmers Market

Stop by the annual Fall Fest at the Fitchburg Farmers Market for an afternoon of family fun! Enjoy FREE horse-drawn carriage rides, a kid's craft activity, live music, and Culver’s custard for sale, with proceeds benefiting the EAGLE School. While you're there, explore all the amazing offerings from local vendors, with everything from fresh produce to handmade goods. Celebrate fall the Fitchburg way!

September 17th - Fall Promega Art Showcase Opening Reception & Symposium

The Promega Art Showcase is celebrating its 30th anniversary by hosting the 14th PhotoMidwest Biennial Juried Exhibition as part of the 2026 PhotoMidwest Festival in Madison, WI. The PhotoMidwest Biennial showcases photographers living and working across thirteen midwestern states. The 2026 juror is Karen Irvine, Chief Curator and Deputy Director of the Museum of Contemporary Photography at Columbia College Chicago. Two workshops will also be offered on Friday, September 18th from Karen Irvine, and Ralph Russo. More information can be found here.

September 18th - Pick Me Up At The Border

Join Bike Fitchburg for the annual Pick Me Up At The Border and ride to the Illinois border and back! This is a great chance to clock in some miles before the chilly weather sets in and explore the scenic Badger State Trail. Cyclists of all skill levels are invited to be part of this ride and can opt for a route that suits their preferred mileage. The longest journey, covering 78.2 miles to the Illinois border and back, meanders through picturesque farmlands, woods, and rolling hills, offering stunning views. September 24th - Night Market At The Rusty Bee

Save the date for The Rusty Bee's September Night Market! Stop by to browse handmade goods from local vendors from 5pm-9pm. The market will be set up on The Bee's beautiful patio, and features over 12 local vendors and will have two local food trucks on site. October 10th - Oak Bank's Pumpkin Giveaway

Oak Bank's Annual Pumpkin Giveaway returns on Saturday, October 10th, 9am to noon. This family-favorite event brings a pumpkin patch to the heart of Fitchburg, right outside Oak Bank. It's the perfect opportunity to pick out your pumpkins, grab a goodie bag (while supplies last), meet local mascots, and enjoy tractor-drawn carriage rides. October 24th - Harvest & Horsepower at Fairway Lounge

Harvest & Horsepower is coming to Fairway Lounge, and it’s shaping up to become a new tradition! This event is fun for all ages, where classic cars, community, family fun, and giving back all come together in one place. In addition to an incredible car show, attendees will also enjoy a trunk-or-treat contest, The Fairway Cup, family games and scavenger hunt, a Harvest glow-up finale, and great food & drinks! All makes and models are welcome to the car show, including classics, muscle cars, trucks, and more. This event will benefit Amigos En Azul and local youth golf initiatives. October 24 - Deltaween & Makers Market

DeltaWeen is back again! This popular spooky market returns to Delta Beer Lab for its 6th year! The market will have spooky merch and products from local makers, frighteningly good food and drinks, and costumes of all kinds are welcome! In addition to the market, attendees can enjoy mediums, face-painting artists, trick-or-treating, a kids crafting corner, and local food trucks. The list of market vendors will be available closer to the event. Save the date, and start making your costume!
